ok, so i am a 14 year-old who’s going on a class trip this coming spring to DC and i really want to have something to keep me entertained on the long flights and drives. the main thing i want my…i-whatever… to do is play music. as you can guess i’ll want to take pics which is something only the iphone can do but i already have a camra. i also have a decent phone so i won’t be making any calls. i will however be on the internet (at least i think i will be) so if one or the other has better access or speed that might be a factor.

also… do i really need 32GBs of memory or could i live with less? i don’t think that i’m gonna go crazy putting info on the thing, but i’ve never owned anything made by apple before so… ya!
please give as much info as you possibly can. i really appreciate it!!! thanks.

Touch.
The iphone is like £500 ($650)
The touch is like $190

It plays great media (TV shows, Movies, Music, Podcasts) can surf the web, has apps, and HD radio. It’s also a multi- touch touchscreen. You don’t have to do what everyone else does and get an apple product, do some research with other mp3’s and see if you can get a better deal and not always resort to an “I- whatever”

The iphone 3gs is 180$ for 16gb, and around 230$ for 32gb.
Check the at&t website to make sure.
Do you already have at&t? if not, expect to pay 600$ for an iphone.
If you just want the iphone for taking pics and stuff, just bring your camera.
do you really need a new phone? if you think you do, then buy the iphone.
The ipod touch needs a wifi connection to browse the web, the iphone can use internet anywhere since it has a 3g connection.
1 gb holds about 200 songs, 8gb holds about 1600 songs, 32gb holds 6400 songs.
keep into account that if you plan to buy apps, movies, and other things, it will eventually lower the amount of songs you can have at once.
the 3gs can take videos, the 3g cannot.

an with 20$ unlimited texting, and 40 for 450 minutes a month, thats 90.00 a month…..
