If you go to Craigslist.org and look on there and see what other people are selling the exact same iphone for then that will give you an idea of what the price range you are looking to sell your phone for or you could even trade phones with someone.

I would sell it for $300 considering that’s what most of them are on eBay.

But really, do NOT fall for the phones that flash a faster processor. The iPhone 3GS has 256 MB of RAM. The iPhone 3GS is the best and most popular phone for a reason.

To be honest you can get hundreds of dollars if you sell it on ebay.com, i seen some iphones selling for up to 600 dollars used. Just mention what is included and provide pictures and you can sell it for alot more than 200 for sure.

I paid $350 for my iPhone 3G 16GB (locked)
I unlocked it, jailbroke it, used it for 5 months and sold it for $400.

Since yours is only an 8GB I would sell it for $300-325.
