I'd wait to see what the next generation of iPhone is, and see if the price for the 3GS drops considerably... Apple has a lot of 3G phones to unload, and no doubt there'll be lots of 3GS phone inventory for them to sell when the new one comes out. Perhaps you'll be able to get the 3GS at a really good price, if the new gen of iPhone isn't that much better. Like that other dude said, no sense in getting an outdated phone. We're less than 6 months from the release of the new model which promises to be a big deal since it's going to have to address the challenges thrown down by phones like the droid and the soon to be released Google phone.
